Although, I am enjoying teaching my kids I know that something is missing.I want to enhance my skills more.I am a graduate of Bachelor of science in Civil engineering.In a way, I love numbers.Numbers should not be frightening to kids.They should learn to love it since everyday they will them.And it is what I would like to teach. To get the kids acquainted with numbers.But before loving it they should learn the basics of language.language and math should go hand in hand. I don't get it when they will say that if you're good with numbers, you're dumb in language. Every word problem needs an understanding in language.How could you possibly make a mathematical equation if you simply can't understand the sentence alone? So, for me, Math and English goes hand in hand.
