I am a Post-Graduate in Biochemistry and have a Bachelors in Education (B.Ed) degree. I began my career as a Science teacher and worked as a Bio-Informatician for two years. I started as an online tutor in 2009 to reach a wider section of Science Students.

How do I teach?

I have taken a number of online live classes at WiZiQ (http://www.wiziq.com/annapurna). I am well-versed with the use of virtual whiteboard, where both the students and me are able to share knowledge interactively. Most of my classes are one-hour sessions. My classes are supported with illustrative diagrams. I have posted some online tests also, so that the student can check his/her knowledge gained after my session.

My Strengths as a Teacher

I have good presentation skills and keep my knowledge abreast which is most required for a teacher. Other than this, my strong positive points are punctuality and sincerity. I am also interested in helping students in their course preparation, homework help etc. If there is a specific student question, I would be more than happy to help find answers.
I teach any topic in Biology from K-12 to graduate level. I can teach Chemistry up to K-12 level.
