Compensation Pay Model Assignment Due November 18, 2014I am contacted by a doctor, Mary Curie, that wants to start her own practice but has no experience in HR matters. She plans on hiring two nurses, a receptionist /office manager. She has a strong desire to make sure the office she is opening is patient friendly and run efficiently. At least one of the nurses can be a recent nursing school graduate, while the second should be experienced and have demonstrated leadership skills. The receptionist need not have receptionist experience but strong organizational and people skills.
The doctor has asked me to develop a job evaluation / internal structure for each position, design pay structure and evaluation / incentive / benefit program for each position as well.
The owner has asked me to develop the following:
• Job evaluation for each position
• Internal structure for each position
• Design pay structure and evaluation (an example appraisal for each position except the dentist)
• Incentive package for each position
• Benefit program for each position
The project will consist of two parts.
1. Design and present all necessary documentation necessary to develop a "pay model". A formal proposal for the company (part 1) - Eight Pages
2. An "executive summary" in power point format (part 2) - Eight Power Point Slides
