Science, Math and Psychology Tutor I am Jennylyn Yerro, a Licensed Chemist and currently a 4th. year MS Chemistry student in University of the Philippines-Diliman (the top university in the Philippines). I graduated BS Chemistry also at University of the Philippines-Diliman. While doing my MS thesis, I am also working as Science Research Specialist 2 in a DOST project (Department of Science and Technology).

Experience: I've been an instructor in Biology and Zoology for two years. I tutored elementary, highschool and college students in different subjects for almost 8 years. As a tutor, I always make ways to get the student feel comfortable with me by asking him how he is the previous day and I also share what happened to me the previous day before our tutorial session starts. In this way, I can relate to them and make the students feel relaxed, which helps me understand and decipher the most effective way to teach them. I prepare visual aids for easy understanding of the various concepts. Given that there are a lot of theoretical concepts in different subjects, I use layman's terms to describe these concepts so that the students will get familiar to the concepts.Whenever after a lesson, I ask questions and give them homeworks, exercises or sample exams so that I can assess if they really understand what I taught.
