I am an experienced Secondary School Teacher with one year experience teaching in Canada as well as two years experience in the UK.

Previous experience has included teaching Canadian History, American History and British History as well as English Literature, British Literature, and Poetry. I am also certified to teach English as a Second language and have conducted CV/Resume writing work shops.

I strongly believe in creativity and problem solving in the lesson. Students must feel comfortable approaching their tutor and develop ideas through questioning for clarification, criticism and deepen understanding.

My diverse experience has been a great asset and has enabled an ability to work with a variety of young people to best suit their needs. I have a great deal experience in distance education as a scholar and a teacher. Over the past 2 years I have worked hard to incorporate new communication technologies into my lesson planning in order to cater to a variety of learning styles.
