Lansing Community College- Anatomy TutorI started mentoring others when I was in anatomy. I began making quizzes, and lecture notes to send to class mates. Shortly after I started doing this I found that I could use a more hands on approach to personally help others with one-on-one, and small group instructions. I found that through a passion for anatomy, and to learn more I was able to help others. As someone who has recently taken anatomy, and frequently used Supplemental Instructors. I understand what it takes to succeed and learn in anatomy.
I like using pictures, and mnemonics to make anatomy simpler. This also helps students to learn more with minimal effort. I also enjoy trying to relate anatomy to practical health care applications to show purpose of the material.
