Mr. Reginald Tan graduated 1999 from DLSU, where he took his first college course of BS biology. He graduated magna cum laude from the UP college of music last April 2008 taking up composition as his major under the tutelage of Prof. Josefino Toledo, Jonas Baes, and Christine Muyco. Mr. Tan represented the Philippines in competition to New Zealand last February of 2006 for the event of Asian Composers League. He is currently the music director for MGC New Life Christian Academy where he is currently in his 13th year of service. He also served as the band and technical director of several churches such as St. Stephen’s Parish and New Millennium Evangelical Church. His expertise includes composition of modern and “new” music, musical arranging, music and band training, as well as sound and technical engineering, including the likes of recording for various mass media. His passion has always been to bring high quality music education to the level of the common person. Recently, Mr. Tan has started “MUSIC MAJORS’, a music school whose main objective is to help students achieve excellence in music, as well as to provide quality music and events services to its clients.
