Experience: I have worked as part of my university department's STEM outreach to local schools, teaching maths and science to classes of children from KS2 to GCSE level. I have also volunteered for 3 years with disabled teenagers at a youth club as a way of helping out my community.
I feel this has highly developed my sensitivity to student learning requirements whilst also widening my range of teaching methods and ability to stay calm under pressure.
